Jobsite UK has reported a pre-tax profit of £9.7m for the year ended 30 September 2006, compared with £7.8m in 2005.

The company’s turnover rose to £21.6m in the year, compared with £17.7m in 2005.

Operating profit for the 12-month period increased to £9.7m, compared with £7.8m the previous year.

The director report said: “The performance reflects an increase in vacancy advertising volumes and usage of CV services, combined with record numbers of candidates visiting and applying for vacancies across the Jobsite portfolio.”

It added that better than expected growth was delivered by its niche job boards www.cityjobs.co.uk and www.londonjobs.co.uk.
