Agency franchises

Published: 12 December 2007

Prestige Nursing has overhauled its franchise initiative after research revealed improvements were needed, designed to grow the number of franchised branches across the country.

The improvements mean that franchisees will now be able to concentrate on growing their business, not administering it, they will also be supported by thorough planning both before and during launch.

Prestige Nursing’s managing director, Jonathan Bruce, says: “We originally began franchising in 1998, and had great success in attracting franchisees to work along side our established managed branch network. The majority of the original franchisee intake is still with us, and while they continue to own and manage highly profitable businesses, they operate in a market that has changed dramatically since 1998.  We have therefore learnt a great deal about what makes a successful franchise, and with a host of new opportunities opening up within the marketplace, we felt that now was a good time to put these lessons into practice.“

The new franchise package includes a detailed six-month training and development programme, licensed use of all products & services within a defined territory, bespoke real-time management information systems, dedicated support from HQ and access to Prestige Nursing’s national contracts.
