Sheffield Haworth is the hottest

Tim Sheffield, chief executive of financial services recruiter Sheffield Haworth, said winning Recruiter's Hot 100 Award for 2007 was down to the hard work of his staff.

Sheffield Haworth received the award for the highest gross profit per employee (£191,129).

Sheffield told Recruiter: "This is great recognition for the efforts that the staff have put in over the last 10 to 15 years."

He put the award down to focusing on the financial services sector as opposed to "being all things to everyone", and having the ambition to grow the business organically rather than through acquisition.
