Hays appoints Bredin to new role in charge of operationsHays built-environment division has promoted Andrew Bredin to thenewly-created position of national operations director to help focus its response to the current economic climate. “Given the current economic climate, we are restructuring to ensure we have a highly-focused management team,” Bredin told Recruiter, adding that part of his role will be ensuring the company is acting in the same way across all of its branches.
Bredin has worked for the company for 21 years, starting his career in the building services division in Croydon as a trainee. Tim Cook, managing director at Hays, said: “These are challenging times for some sectors of the construction industry, which means it is even more important to have a focused management team. Andrew’s promotion is extremely well deserved and I look forward to working closely with him.”
