Staff from one of the North West’s commercial recruitment agencies, The Business Connection (TBC), celebrated its 20th anniversary in serious style by helping to host the North-West premiere of the latest Bond film, Quantum of Solace.

The team was privy to the first screening outside London and was later whisked away in Aston Martins for champagne and martini cocktails at the official after-show party.

Lucky them, you may cry. But luck doesn’t come into it when the agency’s chief executive, Kirsty Craig, happens to be Daniel Craig’s step-mum.

Pictured (right) with Kirsty at the Chester film premiere is her husband Tim — father to Daniel — and a director of TBC.

We did say if you can’t get Daniel there himself, just get a cardboard cut-out but we didn’t think they’d take us seriously…!
