GRS survey

Risk bonus professionals’ salaries slump by 23%

Risk bonus professionals’ salaries have fallen by 23%, according to a new survey.

The survey, from risk recruiter GRS, also shows that 33% claimed that they would not receive a bonus this year, while 57% thought their bonus would be cut.

However, 67% of risk professionals still expect a bonus and 12% think their bonus will double.

David Butters, GRS consultant, said: “Less than a third of financial services professionals expect this year’s bonus to match – or exceed – last year’s payouts. But 43% of risk professionals expect their bonus this year to match or exceed last year’s. This is proof, if ever proof were needed, that despite – or indeed because of – the downturn, risk is in the ascendancy.”
