The Recruiter Show saw the launch of the Recruiter-Clearwater International European FAST 50 this morning.

The new table will list the 50 fastest-growing recruitment companies by revenue in Europe but excluding the UK. Clearwater International, a corporate finance house that operates in the staffing sector, will carry out the research ahead of publication of the European FAST 50 in Recruiter magazine in April next year.

Announcing the launch, Marcus Archer, partner at Clearwater International, said the new table would be an "exciting addition" to the existing Recruiter FAST 50 that covered the UK.  He explained that apart from being headquartered in Europe, the criteria for inclusion were similar; that companies were privately owned, and had revenue of at least Eur 10m (£7m) in each of the last three years.

Archer said he expected growth rates in Germany, the Netherlands and the Nordic countries to "probably be the same as in the UK, with lower rates in France". He said he expected staffing company growth rates in Spain and Ireland to pick up on the back of economic recovery in those countries.
