Ricks becomes CEO and co-owner at Elite Leaders

Tara Ricks profile

Tara Ricks has stepped up her commitment in the Elite Leaders recruitment networking and leadership group by becoming co-owner and co-CEO.

A Recruiter business advice columnist, non-executive director to recruitment businesses and recruitment business leader, Ricks shares ownership and CEO responsibilities with Sid Barnes. Barnes took on the CEO and owner role at the end of last year [2023] when founder and recruitment entrepreneur John O’Sullivan exited the Elite Leaders business.

Asked about the organisation’s future, Ricks said: “The value that we have in the future is being in the advisory space, and being that trusted adviser takes many forms. We advise companies to get them into the best possible shape, creating options as to what your next step might be. We’re not a trade body, not a training organisation. It’s very much focused on that advisory piece.”

As a result, they feel like imposters or frauds at the workplace – and it doesn’t matter how high you’ve risen in the organisation or if your achievements are staggering. In fact, it’s experienced commonly as we take on more responsibility.
